The eternal beauty of the Vatican

The Vatican is the smallest country in the world, but its 110 acres of surface host more than 300,000 works of art and is world-famous for being the home of Michelangelo’s masterpiece: the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican collection encompass a massive variety of art, from ancient Roman statues to Egyptian artefacts, as well as tapestries, trompe l’oeil and gold and stucco decorations. A place where your spirit, mind and senses will be caressed by beauty.

The itinerary

Enjoy this 3-hour guided tour that will give you special insights while you discover one of the largest art collections in the entire world. Time is of the essence during your Roman holiday so we’ll skip the line at the entrance of the museum.
The incredible amount of art & history housed in this museum makes it difficult for the average visitor to make the most of the collection, so be guided by our expertise while you walk through the infinite galleries, pointing out the most important and unmissable pieces. Learn about the secrets and anecdotes of the Sistine Chapel as you go through the Pio Clementino section of the museum, home to the Laocoonte, the statue that started off the whole Vatican collection.
Immerse yourself in the galleries on the way to the Sistine Chapel, marvelling at the gorgeous tapestries and maps that cover the walls. Before entering the Sistine Chapel, enjoy a cappuccino at the Vatican café (made with Vatican cows’ milk!) and prepare to have your breath taken away by Michelangelo's masterpieces, the Volta (ceiling) and Giudizio Universale (Last Judgement)
From the Sistine Chapel, thanks to the special passageway reserved for authorised guides only, we’ll take you directly into Saint Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the world. During your visit, you will have the chance to see some of the most iconic masterpieces of Rome: the Pieta, the bronze statue of Saint Peter, the Canopy and the ornate funerary monuments of the most important and famous Popes.
We’ll round off the tour in the majestic Saint Peter's square so you can see the balcony used by the Pope to give his blessing and also the famous chimney that announces the election of a new Pope.
